You are right on the money about the importance of introducing your kids, friends, or anyone else to aviation. I have no kids but take great pleasure in giving rides to anyone that shows an interest in aviation. You never know who is going to fall in love with aviation as we have so we might as well spread the excitement to everyone that we can.

I just recently received my commercial certificate and am actively preparing for my flight instructor certificate to allow me greater opportunities to share the joy that comes from flying.

Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing your love and excitement about aviation with the rest of us!CFI Pilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10366147395983152827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27325203.post-73436249068897655042007-12-15T20:23:00.000-05:002007-12-15T20:23:00.000-05:00Many thanks! Of course, my wife found out about the helecopter ride on my blog, but that's okay.

Commets like yours keep me doing this, and I sure appreciate your kind words!

- SteveStephen Force (Steve Tupper)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07913033375999496839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27325203.post-68867438550589942192007-12-15T17:34:00.000-05:002007-12-15T17:34:00.000-05:00Fantastic stuff. My family joke that I've indoctrinated him early and why not!

His toy pilots climb on the wings of his toy aeroplane and when his mum doesn't know why, he explains that it's to "check them!"

He tells her that "Jets are faster than Aunty Leia's aeroplane", but he runs to have a sit in that same far-slower-than-a-jet aeroplane and laughs through the turbulence shouting "bump bump bump!"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
